When did it begin?  A year ago?  Five years ago?  Perhaps before I was even born?  Pre-destiny and free will inextricably interconnected in a great “both and” moment where love is offered but never imposed.

It seems baked into the human experience: order, disorder, and reorder….  Though it has taken me a while to understand this, I have slowly learned that our times of disorder offer great possibilities.  Possibilities we might never recognize if we cling to our old order.

At last I embraced my undoing and from its disorder, a reordering emerged.  Something unexpected.  Something unforeseen.  Gypsy.

My old mentor Donald Schön would say that the unintended consequences of my time in the swamp helped me to see with greater clarity.  Love is offered by never imposed…
